Lions Foundation of Canada took up Helen Keller's challenge to be 'Knights of the Blind in the Crusade against Darkness.'working to raise funds to help this worthy cause,collecting eyeglasses,and then extending their program into supporting the training of Dog Guides, for not just those who are challenged with blindness, but other life challenges as well.  Here is information from their site on how you can be part of the Foster Puppy Program:
